I liked this peice. You constructed this well. I am a diehard patriot, I love my country... here lately I've disagreed with it's leaders but will still stand behind it. Normally things like this get me fired up, I wanna fight back with something because I feel personally attacked. You didn't attack the patriot in me with this peice, you intellegently and poetically expressed your veiws gracefully, and if you knew me personally you would understand how hard it is to acomplish that. CONGRATS!! lol
At first I was unsure of the message, because the title drew me in I was like "Oh no, it's going to be too vague to understand" but it's like you prepped us, like a rollercoaster, but unsuspectingly. You pulled us up... some minor jolts but it's to be expected on a thrilling ride and we reach the leveling out right before the turn at:

"Some try to fix a house with fatal mold
Its just throwing good money after bad.
The family never grew old.
They are six feet under and cold"

The Cheney thing... when I first read it I thought it was a metaphore but reading it over again I realized "This guy is serious" and then I kept reading and it was like the pit of my stomach was being yanked here and there... and by the end I was yelling (not literally) it was a great read. Thrilled me, unsuspecting turns... great advancements of lines and technical points of writting... you're very talented... great drop
