"Where is My Remedy?"

When I awake in the day, I have only one goal
To make all those around me feel like pure gold
Keep them happy and glad
Help them become less snappy or sad
Being their remedy with not a cent as a toll

As the day goes on, and the darkness covers all
I think of the people who I helped break the fall
Family and friends
Happy again
All because I wanted them to have a ball

When the night is here, I find myself alone
No one to help me, no sounds from the phone
I sit and I laugh
Than I cry and I gasp
When will my remedy come to my home
