So much eminem hating on this site all this mainstream vs underground talk. It's like y'all think eminem started as a mainstream artist em was about as underground as they come before he got his aftermath deal. Eminem came outta the same underground that copywrite eyedea and most the major undergrounds are at right now. Eminem was unsugned hype in the source way before he dropped the slim shady lp and back when he battled he was about ten years ahead of his time. There's people now who could beat eminems old battling skills but ten years ago when em was a abttler there wasnt anyone coming close. I'm not an eminem groupie and really dont listen to any mainstream hip hop but if you seriously can't respect what eminem is and has done with the level of lyricism in hip hop then you are retarded. Whoever said eminem should battle eyedea or sage francis should realize its like saying shaq shoud play one on one with wilt chamberlain. Wilt was the innovator just like eminem was and sage francis and shaq have just expanded on what was put out there by the innovators. Underground wouldn't be were it is without artists like eminem and only the ignorant don't see that a good majority of mainstream artists are just underground artists that made it -1
