Turned...To find my mom in the middle of a hold up

Abruptly back to seeing my own self
Petrified, I needed to see the ending for help
My mother's life at stake, Can't let her go...
Said what i saw...She didn't believe a 15 yr. old
On i went, Confused, Was it just a picture?
Or did this man...Have a loaded gun in the mixture?
Put it behind me as i envied golden rings
Even tho i couldn't afford such marvelous things
Seized mom to present the jewelry showcase
Then saw it...What i dreaded for that day...

A black revolver pin-pointed her beloved heart
People screaming...Dashing out n into their cars
Tears drippled down her rosey cheeks...Forced a smile
But i knew, She knew... It wasn't worth while
The man cocked back, Intrigued his finger to pull it
The gun sounded...I jumped the bullet.
