Im gonna post this final statement, then i wont post in here again. I think by posting this, i speak for me, Cyph, Quo, Tone-E, all of us who have been here long enough to be considered the new RB 'vets', so listen up ..


We all know the reason we began posting in the first place was to display & improve our rhyme / writing abilities. After being around each other, and dropping rhymes for multiple years, it was logically the next step to relate to one another in a non-rhyme format. This discussion board is the result of individuals having that want to communicate with their peers without rhyming and without being judged. Weve already proved ourselves, weve already elevated. Weve already mastered what we can from posting in the other forums, there's basically not a lot more we can do.

That's at least how it is for me and most likely many others. I could give a fuck how people rank my open mics, my battles, my success in the various tournaments and league's here or how much certain newer heads here think of me now i don't write / battler here as much as i did. My discussion board traits, my 'ego' that im better even though they take it the wrong way, my writing abilities, etc ..
Because if you're that socially inept that you need affirmation or validation that people view you as gifted or that you feel the need to conform and fit in at a message board with other users that will vote for you just to boost your ego's, you're obviously lacking something in your life as a person. I kinda feel sorry for you, for honestly believing that how you're judged on an Internet hiphop board affects how you view yourself as an individual.

It's pretty damn pathetic when you think about it, but that's how i feel right now. And im tired of kids trying to say im wack / fell off / that i should do more to help newbies when ive done that shit for years already, proved myself one of the better heads here and now i just want to have the freedom to post what i like, when i like. If i want to just chill in here, i will do. And i don't care how many stupid fucks write about me in a rushed topical league magazine, fact is, i was better than you now years before you were who you are now.

if you feel battling lacks, try helping to bring it back. it's not like you won't become one of the top heads over time. The reason all the new kids suck is cause they battle a bunch of other inexperienced new kids and therefore aren't challenged by superior battlers.
It's like playing basketball. If you play against people worse than you, you'll never improve. If you always play against formiddable foes, you'll continually improve your game.

Yes, it's OUR fault that battling sucks now. Not newbies.
But you can't expect us to help them if they aren't willing to help themselves.
