First, dispelling floating arguments.
1-While it is true that the bible was written by many different people in many different languages, the thing to remember is this: It was still written by god. The people who wrote it were merely... how should I put this? His secretaries. Nevertheless, both arguments remain valid due to the inability to cancel either out.
2-The Bible is not the bestselling book of all time. Guiness Book of World Records is. The Bible is the most widely distributed book, often given to people for free. I once walked home from school and some old guy handed me a copy of the old testament, which has in fact come in handy a few times.
3-Prayer is an action. Yes, God knows what you'll pray for before you pray for it, but that's not the point. The point is sitting down and actually going through the motions. I know if I excercise and eat right, I'll be healthy, but shit won't happen until I actually go through with it. There is proven magick in prayer.
Now, unto specifics.
Skiddz, making stuff up to explain things is not religion, it's mythology. Religion is faith.
God, I can't speak for the rest of them, but I for one do believe that God is the same all over and that all these different faiths are just the different ways for people to percieve him. After all, it would make little sense for the jews after fleeing Egypt to maintain the forests and the rivers while walking in the desert. Just as it would be rather silly for the indians to maintain a standard of morals and beliefs that keep them clean from pagan influence.
Abram, it's either the book after Mathews, or one of Johns. I can't remember. It's been a while, but I know it's in the new testament. She had what I believe was called Ascention or Assumption. And I believe another prophet in Christianity had it as well besides Jesus and Mary.
Und das ist alles?
