To Whom it May Concern,
The name's Franklin or Frank. . Surviving in spite of tight targets
Name warrants a chuckle; my qualms aren't quite as light-hearted
How do I start - my mind's jumbled as my rhetorical fun conceives
First & foremost, I suppose I'll present the deplorable summary
As an Armenian national, trust that I've been with rivals & fights
But the pure bias against us provides an indescribable plight
Kindled bibles ignite, the clansmen deface the crowned decrees
A geographically-charged pencil has erased our boundaries
The streets are empty; now, it seems the crimes are educated
Light & Dark: one in the same - even our time is regulated!
'tGoes without mentioning the deaths that blunder & haunt kings
Feel lucky statistics are elsewhere, for the numbers are daunting
The odor of burning corpses: so distinctive, it roamed the night. .
While the model family was gone - extinct with its prototype
Succinct but it's so concise, a friend amongst men could enrich us
We tried. . Bonded together prior to meeting defensive militias
That's my story - now come! Help revive our rueful, storied ride. .
You did it for Israel. . Now, all surviving Jews are glorified
A battle plan - some young, pretentious eyes will stop the frowns
Sadly, the world still thinks "holocaust" exemplifies a proper noun
Expose it. . Extinguish our anguish, & possibly our will to eat
We're marketable, I swear! This type of atrocity will fill the seats
I've been through so many faiths; now, I let the Buddha appease me
The World was on their side:
I never thought of it this way, but the Jews had it easy.
Sincerely yours,
Frank Anne
