For the most part, yes.
Jews follow the old testament of the bible. Christians are supposed to follow both testaments. Mormons are supposed to follow both testaments and the book of mormon.
But the different sects are seperated in two ways. Either they have one copy of the bible, but follow different rules. Such as Catholics put a lot of emphasis on the Virgin Mary. And then there are those who follow a different translation of the bible. Such as according to some translations, one would construte homosexuality as being a sin. But in other translations, homosexuality is the bee's knees.
