Locknes, Protools is far from the best program seeing that Pro Tools is a windows-ready watered down knock off of Logic Pro as it's ALWAYS been. Protools "HD" is just the exact same inferior protools software bundled with their hardware. Still the same recording program.

BTW, there's a reason why Logic is NOW only made for macs.

There's also a reason Logic is the industry standard. Its the most comprehensive (widest) AND the most in-depth (deepest) audio program ever made hands down.
