The Tale of the Water God
He bathes in blood – lusts in sand,
Hades and he walk hand in hand –
and together they roam the land –
looking for two lads to go man to man –
so they can end up dead – away from
the highlands, one six feet under the ground
and one in jail for violence,
No one remembers – no moment of silence,
He is lord of the sea – his name is Poseidon,

The Pauper in the Water
“Most were taught to apply rhetoric to death,
To believe when life was over – that nothing was left,
The tale the truth – demoralization – the loot,
Fools allotted – what a hoot!
For those in need of dire knowledge,
With information not nurtured and truth unpolished,
I’m here to give it to you straight –
Will all do respect – this is rather bad taste.”

The Criminal Is Always Wrong.
His hand reached the quicksand –
no more solids to touch,
The angle of his reason was extreme,
He had ran out of luck,
The truth was hidden but
his `accidental` death was just,
The scheme was elaborate and
the schematics were lush,
He was an addict and such –
he knocked over a few convenience stores,
Used the money for Old English and to screw
a few whores,
In his lifetime he had opened a few doors,
None of them necessarily good, - but he
hadn’t realized that these games were serious,
He delirious but there was something about the
experience, the rush of blood to his parts –
feeling himself get hard,
Until he got so wrapped up in the moment –
let down his guard,
An undercover police officer playing
the part,
So now from, rewinding from the
end to the start,
He ended up six feet under,
The plunder the wonder
of still sinking every time a new
tide arrives, uncomfortable –
sand burning his eyes,
And seashells impaling his
thighs,
Hermit crabs pinching the
weapon he used to rape,
And shackles from Poseidon
preventing his escape,
This is a result of a life
gone bad,
The Poseidon really exists,
The myth is just a good laugh.
