Okay, so this first round will be a group stage. You take on everyone in your group. No shows will get an automatic loss. Not a flawless system. But it'll have to do.

After the group stage, we progress onto a straight knockout tournament. The people who top their respective groups shall go through automatically. We are as yet undecided about how many of the others go through into the next round. So it's best to try and get as many 'points' as possible. But there will be at least 3 more going through (three best runner ups...emphasis on AT LEAST).

3 points for a victory. 1.5 points a draw. 0.5 points if it's VERY close and a VERY GOOD PIECE. The latter shall be very rare. And i guess so will the 'draw' one too.

First group matches will be posted up in a seperate thread.

These groups were loosely seeded. Because looking at participants, it could've fallen into a farce if not. One for the anti-socialists, eh? Or not.
