I don't know.
Pulled apart in each direction, to see
how far we'll go.
Altruistic feelings of anomie,
I don't want to hurt.
I need you to need me, the way that,
I need you.
It's a desperate state I'm in-
Please let me in.
Just sometimes it grates on me,
under the skin,
much deeper,
than that,
in fact.
I know it's not you. It's this.
I'm sorry it's so hard now, after
the Utopia we had then
and I don't want anyone else...
