How can one day be so perfect and the next go so wrong
I guess it always happens so that I can write a new song
But, oh well, what’s been did has been done

What? You don’t know Who He is, He’s Jesus Christ
What you think He was some kind of demonic poltergeist
He’s right the opposite, lives in heaven and is called superb
Declaring Him as anything less is nothing more than up surd
He’s the only perfect being, creator of the whole universe
He’s the only reason I even wanted to write this verse
He conquered death for everyone in the entire earth
So we might live with Him in heaven and have a new birth
Giving Him my soul was the best thing that I could have ever done
Cause in Him the true and final victory is already been won
I try and give Him all my problems and pointless fears
And pray that He will hold me tight and wipe away all my tears
He’ll do the same for you if just surrender all to Him
Come into His light and step beyond all that is dim
Let Him write your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life
And He’ll be there to take away all your pain and strife
