Chamillionaire - The Sound Of Revenge

IP:

DISK 1

1. The Sound of Revenge (Intro) – The beat is pretty nice n’ shit. He’s just practically flowing bout how finally the ‘Sound of Revenge’ CD is finally here n’ all that shiznit. But for an intro, this shit was aight. 8.5/10

2. In the Trunk – This track was aight. Good beat, kind you can nod your head to n’ shit. Lyrics were pretty nice, practically flowed about anything here, and he came with some punchlines like he always does. And seemed like at the end of his second verse he was dissin’ Mike Jones for awhile and continued it into his third verse, but I don’t know. And the chorus was cool though. 8.5/10

3. Turn It Up ft. Lil Flip – Some of you should know how this song goes, since he had made a video on it n’ shit. So I’m not gonna waste my time telling you about it. Watch the video, bitch. But anyway, this track was okay, didn’t really like Lil Flip’s verse though. 7/10

4. Ridin ft. Krazyie Bone – Surprised he got Krazyie Bone on this shit. Anyway, Chamillionaire comes off and does the chorus on this shit, then flows his verse. Beat is good. His verse was aight, nuttin special here though. Then after the second chorus is said, Krazyie Bone comes up. He flows bout he’s been smoking and been drinking Hennessey, then goes off of that. I kind of liked this track, not as good though. 7/10

5. No Snitchin’ – Once again, a nice beat. In this track, he’s just saying that he don’t like snitchers (of course). Chorus is cool. And I’m guessing Bun B is in this song, but overall, if you don’t like snitchers n’ shit, then this is a good song for you then. 8/10

6. Southern Takeover ft. Killer Mike and Pastor Troy – Chorus is done by Chamillionaire & Killer Mike, then Mike flows his verse. Song is practically about the Southern Takeover and the South is gonna blow up even more. Pretty decent song, and the beat is cool. 7/10

7. Radio Interruption – I don’t know who the girl is that sings half of the chorus. This song is for one of the ladies since that’s what he’s rappin’ bout, but this song was aight. Lyrics were nice and so was the beat. 8/10

8. Frontin – This song was nice (in my view). Takes awhile for the beat to drop, but the beat is good n’ shit. Song is bout how niggas front and all that bullshit and tryna act tough, so that’s what he gets on them bout that shit. 9/10

9. Grown and Sexy – Now this song is for the ladies, which was pretty good. Nice beat, and lyrics on how he describes this one girl in his song. Shit is pretty cool though. Nuttin much to say here . 9/10

10. Think I’m Crazy ft. Natalie – Another song for the ladies. I’d say it’s almost as good as the ‘Grown and Sexy’ song. But instead of him describing the girl he practically introduces himself n’ shit and then goes on from that. Beat was aight, and the chorus was cool (done by Natalie). 8/10

11. Rain ft. Scarface and Billy Cook – The hook is done by Billy Cook, which I don’t know who he is. But this song was cool, lyrics were cool, and it got the rain pouring down in the background, kinda like the ‘Quiet Storm’ song. Beat was okay, song was nuttin much here either. And at least they say something bout the rain, cus I thought the song was called Rain, but they just sort of freestyled on there. 8/10

12. Picture Perfect ft. Bun B – Cool track. Liked the chorus of it. Chamillionaire’s first verse wasn’t but the picture photograph, but his second verse had a little bout that n’ shit. Then Bun B flows his verse last. Only says one line bout Kodak or some shit close to end of his verse. Beat was aight. 8/10

13. Fly as the Sky ft. Lil Wayne and Rasaq – This has got to be his best song of the track though. Beat is nice, but once you hear it, it sounds like a Lil Wayne beat n’ shit. Anyway, Chamill flows his verse, which was pretty nice. The chorus is nice also, then Rasaq, (Chamillionaire’s brother), drops his verse, which was nice. Then Lil Wayne comes in, nice verse also (even though for the Lil Wayne fans n’ shit, you know he’ll come nice). And Chamill drops another verse at the end. Overall it is a good song. 10/10

14. Peepin’ Me – Track is cool. Beat has that Indian flute shit in the back like Timbaland’s shit. Um, don’t know who the girl is. His lyrics were cool, um, nuttin much to say here either. But yea, this song was aight though. 8/10

15. Void in My Life – I’m thinking this is another ladies song here. But the song name is meaning that he’s missing someone in his life, nah mean? But yea, good beat, and the lyrics were good too. Doesn’t top the ‘Grown and Sexy’ song though. 9/10

16. Outro – Thought it was a song, but he’s mostly talk-rhyming here. But he’s saying that this is the Sound of Revenge, end of the CD, bitch. Can’t really rate this shit, nah mean?

DISC 2 // BONUS CD

1. Turn It Up (Remix) ft. H.A.W.K., Lil O and E.S.G – Eh, different version from the original song though. All they talking bout is how to work a wood wheel and all that shiz. Song was aight though. Better than the original. 8/10

2. Grind Time – Um, if you have NBA Live 06, then you should know how this song is. I don’t really like it since, I keep hearing the shit on the damn game, and it gets annoying and every track on the damn game now. But anyway, I’m not even gonna explain this song either. But it was okay song, before it got annoying. 6/10

3. Rider – This song was cool. Beat was aight, and the lyrics, even though it’s mostly seems just a freestyle n’ shit. Pretty nice track. 8.7/10

4. Hate In Ya Eyes – Not explaining this shit either. Shit is on Madden 2006, so get the damn game, bitches. Song is okay though. 7/10

5. Bad Guy – Beat is cool, sorta like a Jamaican beat, nah saying? Lyrics are cool, and the chorus was cool, too. 7.9/10

Heh, kinda lacked throughout the whole shit, but who cares. Anyway, overall this CD was pretty cool. If ya’ll don’t know who Chamillionaire is, then you should listen to this guy, practically pack punchlines in his verse and doesn’t talk about guns n’ shit like 50 Cent and whoever else. But yea, he aint new, he was just an Underground Artist for a while before he signed to Universal Records n’ shit. But yea, this CD is pretty good though. I’d give it a 9/10.
