Actually I heard they scrapped the plans for his rock album all together.
His
"Prom Queen" song which was intended to be the single, was released earlier this year and received terrible reactions, and rightfully so, it was atrocious.
I'm all for artists branching out and doing new things, but that whole thing felt more like a poor attempt at crafting an image than an attempt at new music.
