I've written about God, the devil, and all of life's questions
about the ground we trod, desheveled, comtemplating confessions
it's been temptin, but theres always a single thought I left out
not of redemption; where life mingles thats not what it's about
the scream or the shout? raised voices cannot help you to see
light beams all about; Do my choices affect the way God loves me?
Of course! The remorse had overwhelmed my joyous nightmare
now a source of doubt; wheres heaven? can I get a flight there?
the sights rare, like that of your third eye on the paranormal
and fight shares, because the word I live by isn't semi formal
but the dress code is, for all the stress loaded kids tonight
& the less gold's worth, might save the planet Earth from fright
He gives commandments, ten, demanding that we all live by them
No, I can't stand it! this religion is a plant without a stem
and what are morals? when death encompasses the world we're in
