DON'T knife fight with a native.

Don't even bring a gun, he'll just throw the knife from 30 yards away perfectly into your skull.

Your best bet is to invite him in, then hide around the corner and as he walks in bash him with a chair or something lol.

And lol @ holding a knife the right way, I haven't ever been trained with knives but I have a Smith & Wesson search & rescue combat blade that looks like this

they're both sharpened... and I always hold them tip down and blade out... it just looks cooler and i've seen people do it in movies and shit...
