well knowledge is a pure form of power just like electricity, fire, or strength. for example if you know how to make fire you are more powerfull than any animal

and power is nothing without "the ability to use it and use it wisely" usually callled control. for example if you cannot put out the fire it is just as dangerous to you, and therefore useless.
