Obligation
9/11 still remains fresh in my memory, those innocent souls deceased
World terrified, shocked by images, mourning from the west to the east
But was no relief to the aching inside my heart, building the grudge
Created hatred towards Arabs, although I know it's wrong to prejudge
And yet I blame every single one of them for the death of my father
Even tried to understand the ground for their actions but why bother?
Stay a constant threat to our beloved nation and which it stands for
Country we adore,God Bless America,no wonder Bush is talkin bout war
Men being begged to join the US army but I don't feel no hesiation
Obey orders because it's my obligation towards our next generation
The turbulent battle has started, time to combat this organized crime
Revenge but also last tribute to those who couldn't continue to climb
Guilt
Months have passed of crawling, killing and suffering on the front
Thousands of soldiers risking their lives for Bush's treasure hunt
I came here to defeat criminal minds, not to kill an innocent child
People screaming for mercy due to the lies of a man on who I relied
Thought we were tryin to dismantle a siuation which started to boil
Searchin for justice when in reality we were just searchin for oil
Shake my head in disbelief questioning how I could've been so naive
As I perceive consequences,I even consider an absence without leave
The shattered houses, broken dreams, the hell which I helped to build
Looking into the eyes of orphans, heart torn apart by immense guilt
Running from grenades thrown by those sent on this ruthless crusade
No selective battling, every Iraqi soul convicted,no exception made
