Reversed Lives

Comen up in the world dazed n confused is how I lived
Kicked outa my home dramatically tramatized as a kid
Resolved my problems, by sellin drugs coke all the time
Caught by the cops, sentenced to months, i dide nine
First day as an inmate my dignity was taken for sure
Barely slept a minute 4 oclock awakening time for chores
Livin in pain as I now realize this isnt the way of life for me
Got my ass kicked daily which upped my self-maturity
4 month's gone by raped w/out my consent, living hell
Personality has thickened as I think of ways to not dwell
Time to stand up show them who's boss withstanding the rape
Beat they ass wit my shank, stabbing them till my hand aches
Mistakes came my way as Im sentenced to 2 more months here
My reputation is up now in the enemy's eye alls I see is there fear
Walkin tall down the hallway as the months quickly shed fast
Last night in the cell, time to make something out my poor ass
Seeing day light how so great, wind brustling opon my skin
Breathing fresh air for the first time as I feel free from within
Found my life path mature, and ready to take charge in life
Nap sack of clothes on my back, walkin through the door to my wife
For the first time in a year I set my eyes on beuty in the flesh
Now realized how I fucked up, as all the dots start to connect
God chose me to show the great gift of life, and its virtue
Sadly looking in her eyes softly saying, "i didnt mean to hurt you"
Thinking apon the moon-setting about my detered-life
Set to make an impact, its now time to reverse my life
