People are mere fools to believe sleep is the cousin of death
For you cannot control the moment you take that last breath
Have you ever wondered how it'd feel to have that high power?
When Mother Nature enforces her laws, you got to allow her
No more words to say if your time came to slowly fade away
Too late to view life as more than what's shown on a display
So I sit here now in a different universe, another place in time
I have paid the price for being at my prime in wild life of crime
Though now awaits another task I apparently still fail to grasp
I dare not even ask, I simply obey and put on the hiding mask
To transform into such a ruthless being with no more morality
Distant from every single reality to show people about fatality
Whether it’d be a natural cause or the result of the firing guns
Now forced to bear that helpless weeping of their loved ones
Every shell of human flesh would get shills of streaming tears
As I come here to take them away and confirm people’s fears
Sometimes I wish to erase it all but I need to reach this place
Where they can live in grace even though they can’t embrace
For in a ghost town there are no more pure emotions around
Soul in lost and found, confronted with a lack of solid ground
But it has to be done as our journey has actually just begun
Remember trying to reach sun? This battle too can’t be won
It’s not me acting; it is the Death persona that rapidly arrives
