This album is mastered. not deep and lyrical, but thats not the kind of music Game makes. first line of the album, "guess whos back on this westcoast track, its the mother fuckin massiah of gangster rap."
This album is a westcoast classic. Game said this album was gonna be gangster, and anybody that has heard it will tell you nothing less. its not fair to compare this album with a genere that it wasnt constructed to fit into.
I bought Rotten Apple and havent listened to it since the first time i played it through. his first album was insane, but Banks seemingly great lyrical skills were absent on this album. for being the album that was supposed to "bring back G-Unit", lyrical content and sales were embarassing.
No Dre beats, no 50 Cent hooks, no Eminem verse, no Aftermath. he did this shyt without everything people tried to credit The Documentary's success on. and if you didnt like this album, you need to go check out The Black Wallstreet Journal Vol. 1 among the other insane mixtapes Game put out before this album. ive never seen an artist with so much energy to be putting out all these mixtapes, signing new artists, and finishing an album that had to prove to the people that its Game that makes The Game who he is, not anybody else.

Doctor's Advocate = 4.5 out of 5 stars.
