A little too wide imo. There is no need for that much space because there is nothing filling it. BIG does not blend amazingly but the colors go well. You really need to mess with text though. Yours does not look good at all. One thing they use to do here to make text placement easier is have a rectangular box stretch across and fill it with a color then lower the opacity and put the text in. That way it stood out. It is kind of a beginner's trick, but you start somewhere.
