Depends on what type of voice you have. This is assuming you're only using the mic for studio work, and not expecting to take up on a stage with you and perfoem with it:

If you have a bassy voice, you would do really well with an NT-1 or an MXL 9000. If your budget is well under that, (hundred or less) look toward the MXL 990 (strong in th lows and mids, busted in the highs), the MXL 991 which is designed for mids and highs, or the samson C01U (ehh, okay at the lows but stronger with the mids and highs).


Just remember, the best mic in the world will still soudn like garbage if you can't tune it.
