I don't know which were dominant for the longest of periods, but whites wanted their own chunk of the land so instead of killing people in the east, they just moved to the west and established shit. then later merked everythang, then got merked, long periods of time went by, finally the two separates realized that merking each other wouldn't solve differences so they started trading.
