There Is No Light Wihtout Dark
our world is divided by two shades of life; light and dark
each represent their own mysteries and journies to embark
both kindle separate sparks, both create unique tales
and when one of them flourishes...the other one fails
a constant battle, between two sides of nature
one symbolizing hope, the other brewed from hatred
each having patrons, who are only there for guidance
but you choose your path, just depends on your mindset
whatever you choose, you're always opposed by the other
conjoined like brothers, with time being the mother
but when the darkness falls, everything becomes unclear
it appears what we cant see, becomes all that we fear
shedding tears of purity, but the black is thick
imaginative noises seem to make your stomach sick
and the clock doesnt tick, stuck in a false state of mind
your voice doesnt echo and your eyes have gone blind
all these combined, seem to have an overwhelming power
to make even the bravest of heart, back down and cower
till that final hour, where the light breaks through
shining brightly, flowing through your veins reviving you
thriving you to push through, since this is all just a phase
dont end up in a craze, cause the cycle happens everyday
beat the deamons, break the chains, spread your wings and fly
stomp out your devils, and feel the warmth of the sky
but feelings of hate arise, darkness brings upon strife
but realize the fact that its a necessary part of life
so next time you want to dismiss the dark, i suggest you resist
without it, all things good and true would probly never exist
cause if it wasnt for light, we'd never have a reason to fight
and if it wasn't for dark.......we'd never be seeing the light
