“Janine’s Cage”

External illness with an internal mindset, this kindness,
Doesn’t come for free, here for eternity, I’ve grown spineless,
It fires on all cylinders, my composure completely bursts,
At emotions worst, happiness shifted into reverse,

She smiles, teeth shine for miles,
I sit down next to her; I’d be here for a while,
She takes my hand and places it on her thigh,
It confirms my, emotional high,
Hearts shattered by the chorus of screaming,
My rage is gleaming, it’s Janine,
Cut was my heart, untold was the pain
She came to where she left me…
…A rose in the rain,
Would her darkest of nails…
…Be pushed through my wings again?
I lay alone, on the floor I was slain,
Trapped in a cage, labeled with her name that morrows,
It was her, the root of all my sorrows,
I gripped my chest, in a mesmeric way,
And thought back in the night as I did in those golden days,
She blissfully twisted; I stepped and said to Janine,
The words that plagued her, like smoke from Methanphetamine,
I pierced her chest with words; it had to be done,
What she did to me was like peering, into the barrel of a gun,
“You Get Under My Skin, Even Though My Mind Is Thick,
All In All, My Message is That, You Make Me Sick…”
