Are there better mics? Of course...dude could spend upwards of 10,000 on recording equipment. It's all in what he wants to do. If he's doing what most people on RV are doing, then the C01u is good enough.

man, I'm not tryin to turn this into some debate.
the C01U serves as nothing but a toy. people who are "playing" with rap, not serious yet and realistically have no marketability because the shit sounds sub par. No matter what level of underground you are, no mixtape, no other artists the public all knows, no radiostations or nothin is playing tracks that sound that poor no matter WHAT you're saying.
end of story.
save your money and spend it on something that when people listen to it, they'll immediately know this isn't a game to you, and you've investment into your self.
