Well, I thought this was a decent verse. Honestly, Josh has dropped a lot better before (example: the weedhead battle). He started off a little slow and I think had to find his swagger. That came around the middle where he had some nice shit, a couple of not so great punches and then he finished strong... however the closer wasn't nearly as good as it could've been. Overall though, a fairly strong verse.

Damn, Kirk dropped a solid verse this week. I have gone on about how gay jokes are played, but I've seen two flipped nice in Lay vs. Laz battle and 3 flipped cool in this battle by Kirk alone. He pushed the limit, if he dropped a 4th I would be like " HELL NO!" His verse started off with the funniest line of the battle, then he fell off a little but picked it up towards the end and finished strong, with the exception of his weak ass closer.


By my count this battle is close as fuck. But, I don't think it is battle of the week material for the inconsistencies. I do believe that Lay and Laz dropped more consistent verses and that is why their battle edged this one for the best of the week. Regardless, this was a solid battle with a lot of humour in it. Josh is starting to show some of that classic humour that made him one of the better battlers on this site. However, by my count he had 6 bars that I thought were decent and Kirk surprisingly had 7... he really brought it this week.

Fucking hell, will somebody beat this chump already.
