Actually.....the first time I joined, there was no reason. I just had nothing else to do with my life after high school, so I decided to join the army. Then I got out right after I got married and had a kid. When I was out I racked up all kinds of hospital bills and shit so I decided to get back in and earn a steady paycheck with all my benefits and shit for the family.....so yeah, it had absolutely nothing to do with the war at all
