all I have is this pencil, pad, a voice and mic son
plus a sanctuary I call "the mind" for the notes that I write from
gluttony, got the demons in hades all lookin up to me
while most of my past peers won't even say what's up to me
I guess that's somthing I had to accept when the burden was layed
and the distance between my friends became further away
when I grew out of speakin on things people were nervous to say
and SAID IT! like why not? I guess it's the passion that I got
Had to keep focused, in every sense of the word
to keep me from becoming a bum accepting cents on the curb
not to mention observe every form of acheiving and be real
coz theirs a boundary of our mind every now and then that we keep sealed
but i want to re-VEAL everything that I got for rap
plus the love for it's history and for it's struggles on top of that!
I want it to be a part of me to the point that it's off the rack
and you could tell I'm Hip Hop just from the places I'm shopping at
