yeah, in all fairness... uefa are correct.

they do expect better from the players at that level, and rightfully so. chelsea will get punished for the aftermath of that game, and deservedly so. but you make a valid point about the referee. it wasn't the italian league, or maybe he did something in that to. but I know he was removed from refereeing in the world cup after he disallowed a clear cut goal for italy and then in another game gave a penalty that wasn't even in the vicinity of even looking like a penalty. so yeah, for that high profile a game he shouldn't have been allowed to officiate the game because history shows he can't at that level.

I have a strong sense that chelsea will be banned from next years champions league or a punishment along that magnitude. or maybe just ban the players who acted out. i don't know. lampard had it right, disappointed but he didn't react. he took it like a player should.
