No defensive as if in your head you feel someone other than you might be right about something, and that triggers an even deeper emotion, anxiety, depression, frustrations...etc.etc. therefore you immidietly use your defense mechanisms, deflecting and rationalizing instead of just accepting the feedback...hopefully god can remove all your defects of character
