Embracing the wind

IP: 214F E62D

Coercing through an indifferent storm
Of strife and calm we gather together
As often as possible just to be close
To the sound of promise rippling and
Ravaging our most collusive desires.

And we fight for the moments of comfort
With happiness walking after each sunset
We dream of seasons so somnolent, yet
Become inured by the shadows of the fallen
They asked of nothing more than to be alive.

(Again) they will wager against their end
In our taciturn pantomime we will smile
With concise derision towards the demons
That haunt our seas, and playgrounds alike
Brooding in the naves of suburbia we find no repose.

The clocks keeping our secrets are going in circles
With their resilient humor towards things to come
The moon trembles at the thought of the uncertainty
For the canary in the coal mine that is panicking with
Portent patience towards those who are running from
Themselves.

Solid drop. I can really appreciatte the talent in this drop. It was a well thought out poem and hit every emotion on the head.

Stay dropping.
