Valor, simply put is one of the best poets on the site. The poetry scene has never really been a superior one on the site, but nevertheless, Valor is one of the few heads who actually joined this site as a poet. And, from the early days it was clear that he was going to bring something fresh to the site. He never let the comments of others, ragging on poetry and saying it was boring get him down. He kept on dropping consistently dope pieces and with the help of a few others, like Atticus and Led Poetic, he raised the bar for poetry and got the Poetic Scriptures forum to a level of relatively high activity.

He was also one of the most critical people on the site, he never held back and cushioned the blow. And his feedback helped a lot of up and comers in the poetry area to elevate their game. He was also one person who would drop feedback on anything, he didn't care if it was his friend dropping something, or a practical nobody, he would still offer his opinion in order to help people out, this trait got him a lot of respect from members on the site.
He has also been a successful moderator, he was been all over the site moderating a variety of forums. He used his moderator skills, and his poetry knowledge and combined them to launch the FIRST EVER Poetry League. This alone helped more people get into poetry, and again helped more of the current new poets to elevate their game.

His skills in poetry eventually got more notice when he won a variety of poetry awards, but his biggest award achievement was being the Runner-Up for Best Poet of the Year in 2004. At that time, there were quite a few dope poets on the site, and to beat them all and only get out-done by one was an impressive feat. From the wide selection of poetry that he has dropped, he has probably had more Hall of Fame worthy material than any other poet on the site.
