L.i.
IP:
L.I. L.I. was one of the first few text heads to grace RV and leave people in awe with his verses. He went on to win 60+ battles on RV to this day. He was basically a trend setter at the time that he was really active. If L.I. used links in a battle everyone would soon do the same. So it was only fitting when L.I. took part in the first ever tag team text match on RV.But it wasn't only his battles that people followed. The word "weerd" came from L.I. and soon everyone on RV was running around shouting "weerd, son!" But back to battling. His most successful trend he started, which lasts to this day, was his use of wittiness and wordplay in his verses. Whether you think it was used in a good way or not, he was the first to introduce it onto RV. However, he would soon find that being the first to do something would not always mean you'd have success. Although he input more creativity then his opponent, his wordplay and wit would usually go over the heads of many of RV's voters, who apparantly weren't used to it. This would lead to L.I. takin' breaks from the site for a while like many of the other textcee's who followed L.I's style. Socrates, who also followed the style, once said to him, "Man, now I know how you feel." And who is Socrates you might ask? Oh, he's only the one who champed the first KORV. But soon others caught on, and L.I. got back to his roll. He entered the Tag Tournament 1 and made it to the final 4. His success didn't stop there, he ended the RV Topical Tourney and ended up being a finalist, losing to R-Rated. *cough* *cough* He won the original 1-2 punchline championship, and also reigned as KLL champ for a while. He dominated in any aspect of text possible. Only showing that he had a large variety to his arsenal. He cruised through 2004, basically dominating. He left the other '04 top heads in the dust. His list of victims included: Shadows Edge, DaClassic, E-looch, Carsonjet, King Solo, Flow intelligent, C.A.L.I., Creativitie, Limited Edition, Calamity, jpoll, Schema and SPuL. So it was only right that he was voted the most dominant battler of 2004. Since then however, L.I. hasn't really battled on RV. So there are a lot of doubters in his skill. He is recently co-modding a 1,2 punchline league that looks real promising as well as joinin' the LBL (the nets fastest growing battle league as of now). He hopes in the coming months that he can prove every single one of his haters wrong and return to the glory he once basked in. Here are some of his verses...
