Finally, a NOTORIOUS B.I.G. Greatest Hits Album...

IP: 47F3 E0A2

Coming Soon! I was wondering why Puff hadn't put one out yet. Well, according to AOL music.com, there is a Greatest Hits LP being released.
It's being released March 6th, almost ten years to the day Biggie was murdered.

Also, they have two "new" Biggie tracks here.
"Want that old thing back" is hot. But, it's not new...lol...They just put his old lyrics to a new beat.

RIP BIG...my rap idol and the greatest of all time.

um...just listen to life after death, thats basically his greatest hits, theres like 2 or 3 songs from born again and ready to die that got heavy radio play, theres really no point in a greatest hits other then to make more money off big's name

Nah son...I'm a die hard Big fan and I've been wanting this CD to come out for years now!

I think it'll be well received. But, I feel you on the money thing...It could be good though...Big still has a family that needs to be taken care of.

So songs are only good if they get heavy rotation on the radio? Dude, have you listened to Ready To Die? That is one of the greatest CDs ever. There's not one song on there that I would skip over....not one.

And that's word

^nah but by greatest hits i take the word "hit" as something thats a hit on the radio thats what it sounds like to me atleast, otherwise they coulda just put greatest songs or somethin, someone could make a talib kweli or common greatest hits but that wouldnt sound right cuz they got like no radioplay, just doesnt go together right idk maybe thats just me, i definately dont believe it needs to be put on the radio to be good though lol i havent listened to the radio in years cuz everything on it is wack, well atleast it was wack when i used to listen

you could look at it as a scheme ta "get money" off of biggie but no matter what intentions its being released for its always good ta give the people sumthin ta remember him by...cuz i hardly doubt biggys fanbase is expanding usually when the rapper aint alive to be on tv or radio anymore people forget about them and their just names now that people list as "influences" when in real life they're the people that these new rappers are trying to be like..its the new generation of rap now and its a whole new set of people thats listening to it that were too young to know who biggie was when he was alive if they were even born at all...with the absence of biggy and the rest of raps legends they get forgot about
