You ever had one of those days/weeks/months/years where you felt everything was workin against you...like, you're the bottom of the barrel...like ur the underdog...
Then, u try to find something to lift u up...to speak to ur spirit...to bring u out of that lull... So...u work out...drink...w/e it is u do... Some of us listen to music... Well, I felt like that recently...and I tried prayin...I tried workin out...I tried listenin to rap... Then, I stopped and listened to MY OWN music... It dawned on me why I HAVE TO be heard... My music was THE ONLY music that was able to lift my spirits... That means that there are other people like me who'd be helped in the same way by my music... Not everyone... But, for those it's for... That's why WE SHOULD NEVER CONFORM or try to be someone other than OURSELVES... Someone's, even our own, well-being depends on it. Q is needed. Tito is needed. I do the same thing. I try not to listen to people I like too much cause I end up trying to imitate their style subconsciously. Its hard to do your own thing when you listen to a lot of shit you like
