OK.

About 9 months ago my girlfriend's auntie became pregnant. Nothing wierd about that. A fortnight or so ago she felt the baby stop moving, so she went to see a doctor, and the doctor said she should get an ultrasound.. Which she did. Sadly, the baby was dead. But being so close to the date it was due, it was almost fully developed and they decided to have a funeral and all that shit for it. They were going to name it after my girlfriend's dead grandfather, so they did, and the baby was officially dubbed "steven." She still had to give birth to the baby, even though it was dead... how fucked is that?

Before the actual funeral, they carried out 7 days of prayer and blessings. All the family members were invited, including my girlfriend. Now this is the wierd part...

One of my girl's uncles got there a little bit later than everybody else on the 6th day of blessing. On his way in through the entrance hallway, a man he didnt know was walking out of the house and as he passed, my girl's uncle did that "raising eyebrows and tilting head slightly upwards" thing to greet the man, and the man did it back. I guess he just assumed the man was another relative, getting something from his car before the blessing started or something.

Anyway they did the blessing, and they were chilling, talking, and eating after it. And my girl's uncle (who saw the guy walking out) goes to my girl's auntie (the one who had the miscarriage), "where's your friend?" .. and she replied "what? everyone who was invited is here..".. the uncle goes "but when I came in, I saw someone leave and they didnt come back."

Everyone was obviously like whoa, wtf... and asked him to give a description of the guy. He did, and my girl's auntie goes "that sounds like my brother, but he's dead." The uncle told her to look for a picture so he could check it out, and she went, came back with a picture and showed it to him. He said it was the guy, and the guy in the picture (who he'd never seen before) fit the description perfectly.

Buuutt... her brother died in a car crash years ago. She started crying and everyone was like.. ok.. what the fuck.

And thats it. They all started talking about how it could have been a sign to show that the baby is OK, or he could have come to take the baby to heaven and all that shit... and then my girl told me what happened that night on the phone.

Shits fucked ay. I mean, I trust my girlfriend, but its still kind of hard to believe. She wouldnt make shit like this up, and the uncle guy wouldnt either.. I dunno what to make of it. And she was stoked as shit when she was telling me..

Wierd...
