Aw hell, installed it, works fine except the resolution and color is off like a mother fucker, im suppose to be at atleast 1024 x 768 and 16bit or 32bit, but its currently showing in 640 x 480 and 16 bit, but im not blind i dont need the shit so big so i right clicked, went to personalization and tryed changing the settings but the 1024 x 768 is only 8bit, so there is no color, but before i installed Vista i was at 1024 x 768 and 16 bit or 32bit (dont remember exactly, whatever its suppose to be it was) and i cant get it to fix, i have an lcd flat screen monitor, nothing old fashion but i just cant figure out how to get it right, any ideas?

I think you need to install the drivers for your graphics card.

If you don't have a graphics card, you need to install the drivers for your motherboard so it can use its onboard graphics shit.

yes....i bet downloading the drivers for your specific graphics card will fix the problem.....

Thats the problem, have no idea what i have, and my sound is off aswell, same thing with the drivers, and all it says for my graphics card is that its like a Standard Vga Controller

try doing a windows update...that may help....and where did you get vista from?

Pretty much im fucked', i was reading all over lastnight seeing if anyone else had the problem, a bunch do, says i have to get a suped up graphics card, lol, and i got it for free, no evaluation or anything just cant support the graphics and sound i guess.. Now i got to look for a version of Windows Xp, i found one last night but opened up "setup.exe" and install wasnt highlighted and wouldnt let me click it, so i dont know if that paticular Xp download was faulty or if Vista wont let me install older visions, so i dont know, shouldve just left my computer alone

Oh and im trying to do the Windows Update now, says it found 5 things so hopefully it fixes it

Well, i managed to get partial sound, i threw on Raekwon and Busta - State of Grace and Busta came out sounding like alvin the chipmunk, guess i installed the wrong sound drivers lol

I heard Windows Vista is piece of shit. I'll just stick with XP for now.

vista does require i good graphics card...iono....ima try and get it and see whats up....my graphics card cost me about 160..maybe i'll have some luck i'll check back with ya
