U.S. government covers up marijuana cancer cure proof!

Last year, Spanish scientists found evidence that marijuana can destroy tumors in rats.

But that came as no surprise to U.S. health officials, who quickly deep-sixed the report. Drug-war-obsessed federal officials have known about the cancer-beating properties of pot for more than 25 years and have kept it a secret from the public!

The latest study, released in February 2000, was conducted by Dr. Manuel Guzman of Complutence University in Madrid. In the study, brains of 45 lab rats were injected with a cancer cell, which produced tumors. Later, a third of the rodents were given shots of tetrahydrocannibanol (THC), the active chemical in marijuana.

The untreated rats all died within 18 days. But one out of five of those who'd been given the pot were cured completely and the others lived twice as long as the drug-free rodents!

Amazingly, a study conducted by Virginia scientists in 1974 yielded the same results.

"The active chemical agent in marijuana curbs the growth of three kinds of cancer in mice, a Medical College of Virginia team has discovered," the Washington Post reported back on Aug. 18, 1974. "The researchers found that THC slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in lab mice and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent."

Despite those results, published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, the DEA swooped in and shut down the Virginia study - and all other marijuana research.

Later, in 1983, the Reagan administration demanded that U.S. universities destroy all research data on the possible medical benefits of grass dating back to 1966.

As a result, scientists like Dr. Guzman were unable to find any copies of the original study and had to reinvent the wheel, according to journalist Raymond Cushing, who exposed the cover-up in a little-seen article on the Internet site www.alternet.com.

"If it turns out that cannabis is the cure for cancer and the government suppressed this information for 25 years and continues to suppress it, then the body count alone will make this the biggest holocaust in recorded history," Cushing writes.

Doctors have come out and exclaimed the government's been fucking with their research as they made it for a certain purpose, and that is that the drug THC itself and not MARIJUANA, has properties that eliminate and cure cancer, in certain individuals, as we are nearly no-different than mice with our organs, it surely can work for us.

Marijuana has effects that cause short term memory loss WHILE IT'S EFFECTING YOU, and, while alcohol has the potency to destroy braincells, marijuana just inflicts them and makes them slower, until about 3-4 weeks later when the THC leaves your system, and you gain full memory back and brain usage.
