yo man dont just use on program spread it around man i use primarily two programs (Cubase SX, Acid 4.0). i like Acid for chopping up samples and loops. Its easier in that aspect but i prefer Cubase SX for MIDI, VST, and VSTi. I find it easier and better. I also mix most of my beats, and final tracks in CUbe. For sound editing Cube is nice or you can use Soundforge 6.0 in conjunction with Acid or I believe Wave Lab with Cube. Yo can also use Cool Edit with Acid. So my advice is to use more than one program
