Okay, so i dunno if i mentioned this before.

The word 'Thug' originated from India. They were a sect/cult of Hinduism who for centuries terrorised parts of India. By robbing and murdering people. All in the name of their 'God'.

In the 1800s when the British Raj became 'total'. They set about and suceeded in virtually eradicating all thugs. After the chunk were caught, and relented to British questioning. Falling back on the thought 'It's over...it's what our god wants'.

Anyway, the followed basic philosophies of living on 'the edge'. Robbing/mugging at will and generally more than prepared to hurt/kill. With little fear of getting hurt or dying. Once again, saying it's down to their 'God'. But also serves as an outlet to those poor, to 'get by'. So one could say, driven by society in a sense.

Anyway, that's a vague description.

So....would a long haired fully pierced Hindu rapper of Sanskrit be that far off the mark?
