Author: T-West "Just Fuck off!" this bitch, she was gettin' me pissed... I was tired of her ways, and her lil' hissy fits... I put on my shirt...and proceeded out the door... Out of em' all...I chose her when there's so many more Drivin' down the dark path, pleadin' "Someone save me!... This woman in my life is drivin' me crazy!" like...before it was great, we went together like a pattern Then the pregnancy came...and so much shit just happened.. Now I can't stand her...and she can't stand me... perhaps our commitment wasn't meant to be... Forget returnin' home, I'd sleep at a friends for the night... cuz honestly...I was sick n' tired ofall of the fights... ... ... went home the next day...but nobody was there... One thing struck my mind...it only was "Where"... Where could see be, I took another few steps... No way...no way that this woman had left Entered the kitchen...and that's when I saw the paper... with the little note written on the refridgerator... "Holy Shit!" as I read it, I started to choke... "Gone to the hospital...My water has broke..." ... ... Quickly jumped into my car, "fuck the cops!...I'm speedin'" This all happened so fast...to quick for me to be believin' Hit the hospital...quickly rushed to her room... I could feel it, I knew that'd she have her child soon .. ... "AHHHHH!" as she pushed...I could hear her in pain.... But I don't think she realized the moment I came... I felt wierd...a feeling I can't describe about... As I watched her push and a child came out... .... .... She held our first child, this moment was a charm... We both smiled at eachother, as she held him in her arms... And right then...we became one...instead of just two... A family we now were....From the Gift of a Youth..... A child is a very special thing...alway remember that... pz. god bless. - T-West. |

youth is valued and loved more than it may seem- staying young and healthy the gift of youth is a great thing- being youthful meens being vibrant and more strong- people dont realize how nice it is untill its gone- bones start to ache..u feel like u might not wake dont wish to be older please belive its a mistake- enjoy your childhood cuz soon it may be over- lookin at pictures of ur childhood for closure- its sad to think about all that you can lose- vibrant and young or feeble and old..u choose- its actually not hard to decide..an easy decision- be old and working or in school doing devision- the path is easily chosen i shouldnt have to warn- forget abortion the gifts are great children being born- nobody listens when ur young gotta point 2 prove- investing money in stocks..orrunnin with crews- the questions are there they just need to be answered- and its sad that things affect youth like aids and cancer- youth is hard but you must live through and strife- cant worry..just live through and try for a good life- being young or old? youth u live in splendor- ur life might be hard..dont complain just make it better- u see elderly people lifeless greiving in sorrow- worry about ur childhood today not what life holds tomorow i had to drop a lil late becuz of a family emergency muh boy t west knows

aight both of these were good t west yours was very good i liked tha flow vocab was aight structure was aight tha thing was u used some imaginry but not enough where i was like wow i feel like i'm rite their thats what made me turn a lil away from your verse but it was good

T West - that was basic yet it ended up deep...how the fights and arguments all were settled by the love the child brought....that was a nice piece....vocab was basic....aint no bad criticism to give...just additions that will make this go from good to excellent...maybe a multi here and there....they help...but ur storyline was nice...and this was a good drop....give it a 8.6/10...
shadow - another deep verse...this had a slightly better vocab...same basic yet deep storyline...u took this topic from a very different point of view...and was harder to do...u pulled it off though which is good....flow was nice....i think u edged him out just by a little with the more complex story,lil better vocab, and hitting a creative topical...this was a dope battle...give it a 8.9/10... vote - shadow Hit this up please... http://community.rapbattles.com/showthread.php?t=134883

PLEASE RETURN THE FAVOR Me vs. THUGZY T West - Until the end it kinda seemed off topic but your closer helped to pull it together. This was a well written verse and i give credit. Had nice structure...as it was easy to read......good flow also.....7/10 Shadow - You're verse was more on topic all tha way through than T's was which is what we're judging here so you get my vote......but some parts did seem like you were on a broader topic than just the gift of youth.....like the battle between young and old....but overall i feel you hit better than T........7.5/10 Vote: Shadow |

ok shadow got deeper and the flow was better so i go with him. i was feeling it the whole way and you never drifted off topic good job. i still recommend not centering it.
if you look at the rule shadow said verse due and this cat t-west put a whole damn song on there. i like it but it was trying too hard to reach the point.
