This Is My Testimony

Verse 1
Ive realised to lose my mind may be a blessing-in-disguise //
But contemplating suicide is just confessing-my-demise //
Thinking nuthin of me but say u love me, dont depress-me-with-your-lies //
Im deranged, unequipped please change-the-script and quit messing-with-our-lives //
We question-His-design, sayin we were made from explosions-in-the-skies //
God provides answers to our questions yet we're opposin-from-all-sides //
Not seein past our next fast hit cos to this earth-youre-addicted //
Forced me to tryna take my own life from the hurt-u-inflicted //
Since birth-ive-been-restricted to living with giving-and-no-take //
Got my fair share of cares and regrets but I learned to live-with-mistakes //
Neglected-by-my-kin, rejected-cos-of-my-skin, left abandoned //
Needed direction and your affection but your every word was spoke candid //
Respect is earned not demanded, but by your hand my hope-was-left-destroyed //
Joy never lasts, since ma girl passed I been unable to cope-with-the-void //
My empty heart tempted to depart from this place in a blaze of sorrow //
Afraid to die, not for my life, I was in fear of tomorrow //
Wonderin if Id be free or would Hades-be-my-everlastin-residence //
So many ungrasped ambitions, who cud save-me-from-this-overcast-of-hesitance //
N tho I would read Gods word, I wasnt realisin-wot-His-gift-means //
I had goals like any other brother but I was suicidal-at-fifteen //

Dont allow the worlds pain and gain to disguise-wot-it-means //
Revise-wot-it-seems, pray until your roots-are-unveiled //
Dispise the king of lies, rise up and the truth-will-prevail //

Verse2
I sat alone on the curb, disturbed by the fatal-sight //
Heatless evil in the darkness, as I cried and prayed-til-light //
Had no one to say-goodnight, again alone-with-my-tears //
Felt far from God yet it seemed His spirit had known-me-for-years //
I struggled with lifes meaning, leaning on prayers I never meant //
But in the darkness on the street, the Father taught me to repent //
My soul screamed towards the Father and god-heard my cries //
He told me to forgive, live life for Him and how his Son had to die //
For the iniquity of His people from lethal paths that led apart //
In the hope that theyd turn form their sin and open their hearts //
Now I had found a way thru, old pain no longer-had-me-cornered //
Sacrificed-regret, I diced-with-death but now had a hunger-to-move-forward //
And tho I know that Im not perfect, and every day I fall-short //
He promised me if I pray with honesty one day I'll be called-forth //
To the Kingdom of the Forgiver to spend my time-in-paradise //
So if u wanna know how to grow God I hope this rhyme-is-suffice //

Take it from a person whose got more shame than any man-cud-relate-to //
Don?t call only when needy ~
But focus all on the one that u pray-to //
Man will hate u for your difference, take their spite-in-your-stride //
See darkness calls but I can't fall cos I reside-in-His-light //
Always fight-for-your-pride, don?t conform to their scorn or sodomy //
Forgiveness is real, clean soul and peace of mind will set your body-free //
Always read, feed your need to learn cos knowledge-is-key //
Study the Bible cos its worth more to u than any college-degree //
Burn haters without apology, never let em feel like they-can-abuse-u //
They will toy with your spirit, but God?ll never play-or-refuse-u //
Keep your thoughts clean, don?t dream of lust or of over excess wealth //
Lifes a game of chance take your stance and play every card dealth //
Pray with stealth and conviction, remember the word of Satan-breaths-fiction //
The Bible says Jesus died on a cross, have faith-in-this-depiction //
Never play the victim cos the world doesnt show affection-to-pity //
And if all this makes u an outcast, remember ~
Gods protection-is-fitting //
