im the poorest nigga over here, its a horrible sight
i cant get good food, a nigga aint eatin right
my car is non-existant my daughters almost starved
my son is beggin in da streets and it aint gettin very far
i would love to have money i dont know what i would do
buy a whole box of top ramen, a loaf of bread or two
but all this is a dream, unfactual at the least
diggin in trash cans and dumpsters for a little piece of meat
i look to the skys and pray for life to be easy
have my pockets slightly deeper, my face less greasy
but the fact is im a nothin aint a damn thing funny
cuz this whole world circles around the greedy love of money

aight not one of my best works but o well here goes nothing

money makes the world go 'round, we're drowned
in a sea of greed, green paper, gold since the playground(since we were younger)
we're bound, like blood hounds to material things
gold's our god, stacking dough, platinums our king
we cling to what we got, take what we can, and that stuff ain't funny
i've heard the root of all evil is "The Love of Money"
but see i'm sick and tired of, money hungry thugs
the drugs, mug shots, murder, blood stained rugs
police men coming to the door at 12 a.m.
"your son has been shot in the chest, his life might end"
but i can't condemn them who be causin mayhem
life in the ghetto's tough there's only a few good men.
the effects of greed and the need to get the green
make people go insane and good boys obscene
we need to clean up our act and start actin together
cuz we're all broke once in a while and under the weather
but there ain't no reason why we can't try hard work
it's better to be poor with a heart then rich and a Jerk
