Can’t stand this torment any longer, I have to grow, have to show my worth
Have to make my peace with the Father, and Mother Earth who granted me birth
Have to climb and make a difference, have to show that I understand and care
Show that I’m ready to change things, that I’ve gathered the will and dare
Have to seize the moment, the time to rise and switch for the better side
The time to feign death with my very last breath and defend my sacred pride
