why even have a poetry league if its not poetry............

all them cats just wright topical verses for it..............

and if anyone try's to be a true poet and do something diffrent they git shot down for it.....................

just stating this cause i want a real poetry league...............

not two topical leagues.............

What exactly is the difference between a topical peice and a poem??

uhh I thought of an answer to my question
I guess a poem doesnt necasaraly have to rhyme and it has more emotion than the average topical peice..
But when something doesnt rhyme its less entertaining to read IMO
That could be why people "getting shot down"
Some people dont understand that poetry is mostly about emotion, not rhyming skills.
