I have come to a conclusion about the honors/GATE/AP or w/e you call it program.

It has about 4 types of people in it after a year or so...

1) The genuinely smart kids who try and get good grades on everything.
2) The "decently" smart students who get decent scores on everything.
3) The genuinely smart kids who don't try and get good grades on tests but not much else.
4) The average kids who work their asses off just to get a B by the end of a semester so when they do take the final and fail it, they can still pass.

I realized this after taking my final for Biology, in which I had failed all semester along with this other kid. When the results came back from the test, a total of THREE people didn't fail the test. Me, the other kid, and my other homie.

See I realized that ANYBODY can get good grades, but it takes a master to perform in a test. So I think it's bullshit that everything these days is based upon grades from homework and "projects" when those only show who has the harder workers. So if the point of honors is to keep the "smarter" kids away from the others, why has it turned out like this?

So for all y'all in regular classes, don't feel bad.

See that wasnt the story with me from 4th to 11th grade (when i actually went) i was in the International Baccalaureate program.. which basically was hard. The classes are harder than AP classes. in 4th grade i was doing 8th grade work. By the time i reached 9th grade i was doing work that kind in their second semester of college arent doing. And i would pass the classes barely and pass the test barely. All you gotta do is the homework cuz thats always a major part of your grade and the weekly test also

for my classes homework was 40%, weekly tests were 20%, and finals and midterms were 40%

so if you got like a D on your final but got bs on weekly tests and bs on homework they would round you up to a B+ for the year.

now thats dope kiddos

try doing calculus in 10th grade

Yeah, there's IB out here too. But other states are pretty far ahead of Cali in education. I knew a girl from Pennsylvania who was 12 and smarter than me. And she was in remedial classes.

So, uh, this only applies to cali. lol

Man thats exactly how I felt in my last few years of school.. I figured that school just isnt suited to certain types of people.. I mean I'm a pretty straight forward practical type of person.. I dont enjoy studying at all for things I'm not interested in and thats why I didnt do too crash hot at school..

The shits geared towards helping people that wanna live by a certain system for their entire lives.. That system being School-->University-->Full time job-->Retirement.. And thats how the government traps you and keeps you under their control with taxes they can regulate how rich you are, with laws they can regulate good citazens rights and keep them from ever being compleatly free.. Now a days the only thing thats really free is speech.. And even that is slightly cencored by the media..

School is basically a training ground that shows you how to live in the government system on the basis that those who blindly rub the governments back by staying in their control will be looked after. Ever notice how if you tell cops your unemployed and living on your own they will be more likly to charge you and try their hardest to imprision you.. Whereas if you tell them your working 1 or 2 jobs and live with other people (IE, parents) they will more than likly be leanient towards you..

And thats going by what their books tell them to do.. My point isnt to try and turn your back on the system, but instead to try and out-smart it and use it to your advantage.. Aint nothing like a good loophole..

Eh.. I could go on forever about this shit and theories.. But I doubt many of you will be able to take in properly what I got to say..

Last semester i dropped out of Honors Math 6 because it was too hard

im in 10th and im doin calculus lol
i got 2 ap classes and da rest honors
and i got 2 sports
and i still manage 2 chill wit frienz and party lol

AND BE 30-17 ON EZBOARDS!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
