well there is a difference in topicals and poetry.... well for me anyway... i always make topicals to record and then preform at open mic night. so they flow well and sumtimes have punchlines but they still pertain to the topic. as for poetry. my poems are written how i would say them at a slam. so they often lack flow and have a denser vocab and complex metaphors that most rap fans are too thick skulled to understand... this net shit is just practice for what i do in real life.
